Description:
Responsible for providing multi-media (air, waste and wastewater) technical support to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and internal standards for assigned plant location. Responsible for maintaining knowledge of applicable EPA regulations, and other regulatory programs (OSHA, DOT, state, local, etc.) as necessary for job function.  Characterizes air, waste, and wastewater emissions from plant operations.  Develops procedures and regulatory documents, assesses risk, and provides technical support on manufacturing and support systems.  Interacts with ESH specialists, process engineers, site facilities teams, process operators and management to gather and exchange information necessary to complete job functions. Education: BS with five years plus experience and extensive working knowledge of general environmental, health and safety. BCG is now accepting resumes for experienced Safety & Health Professionals who have a background in construction safety and safety and health training. The ideal candidate must have extensive knowledge in all safety related topics (fall protection, crane & rigging, electrical safety, hazard communication, etc..). A bilingual (Spanish/English) trainer is preferred but not required.
